Eligibility Criteria for PM Ujjwala Yojana 2026

To apply under the updated PMUY 2026, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

• The applicant must be a woman, aged 18 years or above

• Applicant must be an Indian citizen

• The family must belong to a BPL (Below Poverty Line) category

• Applicant’s name must appear in the SECC-2011 database

• The household should not already have an LPG connection

• Valid identity and address proof are required

Apply for PM Ujjwala Yojana Online

• To apply, you   have to visit   of  PM Ujjwala Yojana .

• There, you will find a link of “Ujjwala Yojana New Registration 2.0” which you have to click on .

• This link will take you to a new page .

• On that page you will get the option to select 3 gas agencies .

• You will have to select the agency you want to connect to and press NEXT .

• After that, you have to complete the given process and select your State and City .

• After this, a new list containing the names of all the gas distribution branches in your district will be displayed.

• You will have to select the branch nearest to you and click on “Continue” .

• Now, you have to access the application form by filling in your mobile number and Captcha Code .
• In the PM Ujjwala Yojana form, you will have to fill in the important information of the woman and upload her necessary documents .

• Finally, you have to submit it and take a printout of your application.

• Finally, you will have to submit the printout along with your other documents to the nearest branch .

• After a few days, you will get a gas connection .
